RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — Residents and pets across South Carolina are wondering what caused a loud boom Thursday evening.
The sonic boom was felt and heard about three miles northeast of the St. Andrews area of Richland County.
Doorbell camera footage captured the sound that stirred up animals and questions from the community.
The United States Geological Survey said it was not an earthquake.
