CHARLOTTE — A busy Ballantyne road will see more than $9 million worth of upgrades.

Charlotte City Council will vote Monday on whether to widen Rea Road from Interstate 485 to Williams Pond Lane.
The city plans to add through and turn lanes to the road.
The project would increase turn lane capacity at the intersections of Piper Station Drive and Ballantyne Commons Parkway.
