ROCK HILL, S.C. — Nearly two months after a Rock Hill woman's murder and the shooter is still on the loose.
A passerby found Latoya Cureton shot to death near an abandoned home on Green Street in Rock Hill in August.
On Saturday, friends, family members and strangers walked through the streets of Rock Hill calling for justice in the case.
"We wanted to do this to keep it fresh on everybody's mind. We don't want her to be forgotten and we want justice. We want to know who did it," said Ta'Mera Cureton.
Officers said they've interviewed several area residents, but still haven't determined a motive, or zeroed in on a suspect.
Family members hope people who may know something will be inspired by their march to come forward.
"They can call somebody, tell a neighbor, tell a friend, don't be afraid to speak out," said Liz McKnight.
