Fort Mill family participated in Jan. 6 riots, according to FBI affidavits

FORT MILL, S.C. — A Fort Mill family is accused of traveling to Washington, D.C., and participating in the Capitol riots on Jan. 6.

Affidavits from the FBI and photos allege Linwood Robinson, his two sons, Linwood Robinson II and Benjamin Robinson, his daughter-in-law, Brittany Robinson and his underaged grandson were at the Capitol.

The documents show the Robinsons went into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office.

The Robinsons were also part of the group that overpowered police.

The documents state the family left after Ashley Babbitt was shot by police.
