OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. — One person is dead following a two-car crash along Secondary 24 near Country Junction Rd in Oconee County.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the crash involved a Ford F-250 pickup truck and a Hyundai Tucson.
The crash occurred as the Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on Secondary 24. According to troopers, the Hyundai Tucson entered Secondary 24 from Taylor Road to head east before both vehicles collided.
Following the collision, the Hyundai Tucson ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, according to state troopers.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
