People on North Carolina’s State Health Plan will be able to go to certain Atrium facilities next year without a significant price increase.
That was a concern when the state announced UNC Health and Novant Health would be its preferred providers.
Now, the state has reached an agreement with Atrium Health that allows people who use Atrium for primary care to continue seeing their doctors with no change in cost or benefits.
The same goes for certain advanced clinical care services, as well as patients who receive care at Atrium Anson, Atrium Cleveland, Atrium Lincoln and Atrium Stanly.
