Some parents of Cabarrus County students are upset with school bus stop changes

CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Some Cabarrus County parents are upset with changes to school bus stops.

Families told the Charlotte Observer neighborhood stops have been moved as far as half a mile away or across a busy road.

Some also said the district did not give them a great heads up.

Cabarrus County Schools told the Observer assignments were posted online at the beginning of the month and shared at open house.
