CHARLOTTE — There will be a flood of pink taking over Memorial Stadium on Saturday, with thousands expected to walk in the fight against Breast Cancer.
It’s one of the largest fundraisers through the Susan G. Komen Foundation, called the ‘More than Pink Walk.’
The Charlotte event is one of more than 40 walks nationwide.
Hornets star Brandon Miller’s mother, Yolanda Miller, will lead a group for the walk. Yolanda is a breast cancer survivor.
Organizers set a fundraising goal this year of $480 thousand dollars.
The event site is scheduled to open at 7 a.m., with the walk starting at 9:30 a.m. at the American Legion Memorial Stadium
