PINEVILLE, N.C. — U.S. Bancorp’s local retail expansion is moving ahead with the latest branch in Pineville.
Earlier this month, U.S. Bank opened an 1,800-square-foot location at 8334 Pineville-Matthews Road. It is a full-service branch, offering resources for consumer banking, mortgage, wealth management and small-business services. The branch has four employees — branch manager John Smith IV and three client relationship consultants.
The team hosted a small grand-opening celebration on Thursday.
“It represents the ongoing work that we’re doing to experiment with some different features in our branches,” said Dee O’Dell, regional executive for consumer and business banking in the east region. “We’re still committed to 10 branches, as we’ve said all along.”
