CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for a group of suspects who they said shot someone in the head outside an east Charlotte apartment late Monday night and injured another man.
Officers were called around 10:30 p.m. to the scene on Snow Lane, just off East W.T. Harris Boulevard and Lawyers Road.
Paramedics said they took 24-year-old Eric Darnell Frazier to the hospital with serious injuries after he was shot in the head.
A 40-year-old victim was also assaulted and had his teeth knocked out, police said.
Channel 9 watched as dozens of officers descended on the apartment complex, interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
Police said four people attacked the victims, but have not released any descriptions. Detectives told Channel 9 that the victims did not know the assailants.
