Wells Fargo Championship allowing limited number of fans

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A spring tradition is back. Fans will be able to attend the Wells Fargo Championship, scheduled for May 3-9, tournament officials recently announced.

This year, the tournament will take place with attendance limited to 30% capacity and strict health and safety protocols will be in place. Face masks or coverings and social distancing will be required.

Tournament director Gary Sobba said, “we are doing everything possible to make sure the Wells Fargo Championship will be a great experience and continue to make a significant charitable impact in our community. While we were disappointed with last year’s event cancellation, we couldn’t be more excited to come back stronger and welcome the best players, sponsors and fans in the world back to Quail Hollow Club.”
