Woman shot in face during road rage incident; suspect arrested, sheriff says

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A man is accused of shooting another driver in the face during a road rage incident Sunday near the Lincoln-Gaston County line.

It happened just after 10:30 a.m. on Highway 321. Deputies were called to the scene, where both vehicles were pulled over on the shoulder.

Investigators told Channel 9 the situation started in Catawba County with a dispute between driver Londen Feldman and another driver, 43-year-old Angela Duncan.

Deputies said as the drivers continued along Highway 321 through Lincoln County, it escalated and a gun was fired at the Gaston County line.

Investigators said Feldman fired a shot into Duncan’s car, hitting her in the face. Then, both people in both cars pulled over and called 911.

Feldman was charged with a felony count each of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and discharging a firearm into occupied vehicle.

Deputies seized two guns from Feldman’s vehicle and a firearm from Duncan’s vehicle.
