CHARLOTTE — The YMCA of Greater Charlotte promises to have a presence in Ballantyne despite the sale of the Morrison YMCA.
On Tuesday, the organization shared a letter with members.
They say they are operating at a deficit and need the money from the sale.
The YMCA will continue the Morrison’s core programs in Ballantyne like summer camp, youth sports and senior fitness.
They are also evaluating long-term plans.
