USS Charlotte out of Pearl Harbor honors city with colors

HAWAII — The USS Charlotte, a nuclear submarine out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, will be returning from a Western Pacific deployment in mid-May.

It will be followed by a change-of-command ceremony.

The submarine honors the city of Charlotte with the boat seal and colors – which are the same as the city's NBA team, the Hornets.
