  • In 2004, a more spacious Double Cab option was introduced into the equation – this meant a new four-door design that was significantly taller, as well as a longer bed for more cargo space. 
  • Five years later, a new engine option – a 4.0L V6 – was introduced into the equation, and drivers could now pick up the best-selling Toyota Tundra in a manual OR automatic transmission.

  • Toyota also upped the ante in terms of power when it came to the Toyota Tundra – this new generation could tow over a thousand pounds  more than the previous model! 
  • 2010 brought minor aesthetic changes to the new Toyota Tundra – it got a new grille and taillights, as well as a new trim-level… the Premium! 
  • 2014, however, was when things were taken to a new level for this best-selling truck. It was entirely redesigned for a muscular new look AND a powerful new performance!
