- The Carolina wedge is in full force over the next 24 hours, keeping skies cloudy and temperatures cool. Overnight lows will drop into the mid-50s.
- Clouds will stick around Thursday before the pattern finally breaks down, setting the stage for an incredible weekend.
- One thing to watch: Carolina wedges can sometimes linger longer than forecast models anticipate, so it’s possible clouds could hang on into Friday.
