- A few storms are possible this afternoon, mainly across the mountains and foothills, with little impact expected for most of the Charlotte area.
- Storm chances increase Tuesday as a cold front moves through, bringing much cooler air.
- Clouds and light rain are expected Wednesday and Thursday as a Carolina wedge develops. High temperatures will stay in the upper 60s to low 70s.
- The weather then clears out for a fantastic fall weekend, with drier conditions and more comfortable temperatures.
