- Despite lower humidity, the heat wave continues.
- A cold front arrives late this week, increasing the chance for thunderstorms Friday into the weekend.
- The front will break the nearly two-week heat wave, bringing Charlotte its first stretch of temperatures in the 80s in almost two weeks.
