- Weather alerts are expected to continue into Saturday due to extreme heat. However, relief is gradually approaching.
- We are expected to see a few storms on the board today and a couple more on Saturday.
- Some of these storms could be strong tomorrow. This weather pattern is happening as cooler air comes in from the Raleigh area.
- It will start knocking on the door on Sunday and be here fully on Monday.
- As it moves in, showers will be possible on Sunday, but widespread rain or impacts to the race are not expected.
