- A late season heat wave is coming in as we wrap up August and head into September.
- Highs return to the lower 90s today with heat index values in the upper 90s.
- We then jump to the mid to upper 90s for the rest of the week.
- Heat index values may soar to near 105°, which would prompt Heat Advisories to be issued.
- Little to no chance for rain for most of the week before weak cold front arrives this weekend to bring in some relief.
