FORECAST: Pleasant weather gives way to rising heat, potential weekend storms

Still quite pleasant today with low humidity and highs in the upper 80s. But, the heat and steam are returning as we head to the end of the week.
Highs jump back to the lower 90s tomorrow and mid 90s by Friday.
It could feel around 100° with the heat index by Friday afternoon.
Storms are also picking up by week’s end. Isolated storms may impact Friday night plans and could linger into Saturday.
Won’t be a washout for the weekend though.
A general cooling trend may be in the offing for next week…fingers crossed!
