CHARLOTTE — ABOVE: The latest forecast update from Severe Weather Center 9. To stay on top of changing weather conditions, be sure to download our free WSOC-TV weather app.
- Quiet conditions to start the weekend with some patchy fog this morning.
- We’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies today with just an isolated chance for a shower and storm through the second half of the day.
- Temperatures will be close to normal with highs in the mid-80s today and upper 80s tomorrow.
- We’ll fully clear of any storm chances early next week as a ridge of high pressure builds overhead.
- That area of high pressure will bring another heat wave to the Carolinas, with highs back in the mid-90s for most of next week, feeling more like the triple digits at times.
