- Quite warm today with highs near 90 degrees and heat index values in the lower 90s.
- This warmup is brief though as a cold front arrives tomorrow evening.
- This will touch off scattered showers and storms by the afternoon and then the rain becomes more widespread by tomorrow night.
- No major storms, but lightning will be an issue tomorrow.
- Sunday’s rain may last most of the day with totals adding up to 2” in spots (locally higher amounts possible.)
- Temps stay in the 80s tomorrow and then fall to the 60s on Sunday with the rain.
- Drier and more comfortable for next week.
