- Plenty of humidity to start the day leads to another shot at strong downpours this afternoon and evening.
- There may be some strong winds as well along with the heavy rain and lightning.
- This may impact Friday night football games and the Panthers preseason game.
- Quieter weather comes in thereafter for the weekend.
- Can’t rule out some storms again on Saturday afternoon but we do dry out more on Sunday.
- Next week will all be about the heat returning.
- Highs in the low to mid 90s throughout next week with heat index values at or above 100 degrees again.
