FORECAST: Sunshine, warmth expected before weekend rain

• We can expect amazing weather right through the week until rain returns this weekend.
• Temperatures Tuesday morning will start in the lower 50s and end in the 70s with plenty of sunshine.
• We’ll gradually warm up to the 80s by the end of the week.
• Meanwhile, we will be watching a system in the Gulf of Mexico, which may have some tropical potential to it.
• This is expected to hit the Gulf Coast by the weekend, and some of the remnants of that storm could bring some beneficial rain to the Carolinas.
• While it’s too early to tell on its evolution and movement, we’ll keep you posted.
