  • A temperature record has been broken after Charlotte hit 97, breaking a 101-year-old record.
  • Summer steam is in full command of Charlotte weather this weekend!
  • That means we’ll need to be ready for a few thunderstorms.
  • Better storm chances will wait until after lunch on Saturday with heavy rain and lightning as the top risks.
  • The good news is that this rain will move on and the weather will improve by the Panthers game on Sunday!
  • Be ready for some humidity, though- it will feel like it’s well into the 90s at Bank of America Stadium!
