See Monet, Da Vinci multisensory experiences at Biltmore

The Biltmore in Asheville is hosting a yearlong series of multisensory experiences featuring works of famous artists. “Monet and Friends: Life, Light and Color,” on display through July 10, highlights the works of Claude Monet and famous Impressionist masters such as Pissarro, Cézanne, and Renoir.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A yearlong series of multisensory experiences featuring works of famous artists is coming to Biltmore.

Legends of Art and Innovation at Biltmore will highlight the works of Van Gogh, Monet and Da Vinci.

The exhibition, which will include ties to George Vanderbilt’s collection of treasures in Biltmore House, will be displayed with motion graphics and surround sound.

“Monet and Friends: Life, Light and Color” is on display through July 10. It highlights the works of Claude Monet and famous Impressionist masters such as Pissarro, Cézanne, and Renoir. Two original Monet paintings from Biltmore’s collection will be on display in Biltmore House for the first time. The exhibit will run during Biltmore Blooms.

The series will conclude with “Leonardo Da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius,” running from July 14 through Feb. 20, 2023.

“Van Gogh Alive” was on display from Nov. 5 to March 5.
