Biltmore to host Van Gogh, Monet, Da Vinci multisensory experiences

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — A yearlong series of multisensory experiences featuring works of famous artists is coming to Biltmore.

Legends of Art and Innovation at Biltmore will highlight the works of Van Gogh, Monet and Da Vinci.

The exhibition, which will include ties to George Vanderbilt’s collection of treasures in Biltmore House, will be displayed with motion graphics and surround sound.

Van Gogh Alive will run Nov. 5 through March 5, 2022. Featuring Van Gogh’s Starry Night and other masterpieces, it will run during Christmas at Biltmore.

Monet and Friends: Life, Light and Color will run March 9, 2022 through July 6, 2022. It will highlight the works of Claude Monet and famous Impressionist masters such as Pissarro, Cézanne, and Renoir. Two original Monet paintings from Biltmore’s collection will be on display in Biltmore House for the first time. The exhibit will run during Biltmore Blooms.

The series will conclude with Leonardo Da Vinci: 500 Years of Genius, running from July 10, 2022 through Nov. 20, 2022.

The exhibition is included with regular daytime admission to Biltmore.

Tickets and required reservations for Van Gogh Alive will be available later this year, followed by the two remaining experiences at later dates.
