Bossy Beulah’s isn’t your basic chicken sandwich

Chef Jim Noble is one of the most recognizable names on the Charlotte culinary scene.

Most notably, his restaurant King’s Kitchen operates as a nonprofit that helps to feed people in need, as well as provide job and life-skills training.

His newest venture, Bossy Beulah’s Chicken Shack, may have a simpler feel and menu than King’s Kitchen and his other restaurants, Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen and Noble Smoke, but Noble remains equally committed to serving quality food using locally sourced ingredients.

“It's not your basic chicken sandwich,” Noble told Your704’s Elsa Gillis.

“Some people say they invented the chicken sandwich. We reinvented the chicken sandwich.”
