Charlotte’s first cereal bar opens in uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — If you think breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you’re in luck — Charlotte is getting its first cereal bar.

Day and Night Exotic Cereal Bar has opened at 127 Brevard Court in Latta Arcade in uptown.

The menu will include cereal bowl combos and shakes such as “Cookies & Cream,” featuring Cookie Crisp and Hershey’s Cookies and Cream cereal with chocolate doughnut sprinkles; and “Unicorn Breath,” featuring Fruity Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, whipped cream and strawberry drizzle.

Whole, skim, almond and oat milk will be available, as well as a selection of bacon.

The bar will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The concept originated in Los Angeles as a food truck. Its first brick-and-mortar location opened in Indiana in February.

The Charlotte franchise is owned by local recording artist Greg Robinson and Danielle Booker, the owner of Bleu Touch Massage.
