Charlotte Checkers supporting Steve’s Coats for Kids

Join Steve Udelson and WSOC-TV on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the Bojangles' Coliseum for a special Steve's Coats for Kids collection and support the Charlotte Checkers as they take on the Toronto Marlies
With the support of the Charlotte Checkers, bring ANY size new or gently used coat to the Charlotte Checkers game on January 19 and receive a free ticket to a game later in the season. If you donate a coat, you can enter a free raffle for an autographed Charlotte Checkers hockey stick.
WSOC-TV's Steve's Coats for Kids collects coats for local children who live in need, and the coats are distributed by Crisis Assistance Ministry. An independent nonprofit agency, Crisis Assistance Ministry focuses on preventing homelessness and preserving dignity for Charlotte-Mecklenburg's working poor -- providing assistance with rent, utilities, clothing and furniture.
The Steve's Coats for Kids campaign runs from now until Jan. 19, 2020.
This campaign also relies on the generous support of our community. CLICK HERE to see how you can get involved. If your organization or business would like to get involved or help with any WSOC-TV community campaign, please email your inquiry to Kevin Campbell, public affairs manager, at Kevin.Campbell@wsoctv.com.
