Explore a mile of one million lights at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s annual Holidays at the Garden from Friday through Jan. 5.
See the colorful lights of the topiaries dancing to merry tunes, LED cherry trees glowing, enchanting fairy villages and a new interactive Stickwork sculpture by North Carolina artist Patrick Dougherty.
Plenty of Garden favorites are back, as well, including the 15-foot, towering orchid tree; live music (daily from 6 to 8 p.m.); crackling fires to warm cold hands or roast marshmallows and children's activities.
Model train displays built by the Metrolina Model Railroaders can also be found throughout the Garden.
