CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — An armed robbery suspect was found hiding in a refrigerator after a three hour standoff with police at a Charlotte apartment complex.
More than a dozen police cars surrounded Camden Park Commons on Tuesday afternoon.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's SWAT Unit arrested Jordache Leach around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
They said they arrested Leach because he had 13 outstanding warrants for armed robbery in Hoke and Scotland counties.
He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning and then was taken to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
