PHILADELPHIA — A group of strangers joined together to save a woman trapped under a car near Philadelphia.
The 44-year-old was seen moments earlier riding an e-bike through that intersection when she crashed into the car and became trapped.
Just about everyone nearby answered her call for help.
“When I saw my delivery driver, I was like, alright, he has muscles,” said Christine Vollmer, who called 911.
“Picked up the Volkswagen Beetle on its side and dragged the woman out, and I told her, don’t move,” said Karl Wise, a delivery driver.
Even another man who was still smoking a cigarette joined the team to pull her to safety.
The woman was taken to the hospital with chest injuries.
