ROCK HILL, S.C.,None — One person has died after a fire broke out in a Rock Hill home on Sunday, the Rock Hill Herald reported.
Police have identified the victim as David Carter, 39 of Barringer Road. Police said Carter lived alone at the house.
Firefighter said the house was fully engulfed with flames when they arrived.
York County Sheriff's Office Lt. Mike Baker said no foul play was suspected.
Officials said the cause of the fire appears to be a wood-burning stove where flames escaped from.
