CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was seriously injured after being trapped in an overturned SUV in south Charlotte on Sunday morning.
Officials said the vehicle flipped down an embankment into a wooded area at Nations Ford Road and Westinghouse Boulevard.
The driver had to be extricated from the SUV.
Officials are still investigating how the crash happened.
