SALISBURY, N.C. — One person died Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on South Main Street in Salisbury, police said.

Jonathan Michael Morgan, 51, was killed in the collision, according to the Salisbury Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 7:30 a.m. to the crash scene on South Main Street between Long Meadow Drive and Peeler Road. The wreck involved an SUV, a passenger car and a pickup truck.
Jonathan Michael Morgan, 51, was identified as the driver of the pickup truck. Occupants involved in the collision suffered injuries in the impact.
The Salisbury Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is leading the investigation into the collision.
