CHARLOTTE — Large banks keep losing advisor teams to Rockefeller, and Truist is not alone. CBJ reported in 2024 that Variant Path Group and Landau Wealth Partners left Morgan Stanley for Rockefeller here. The firm also hired Truist’s Lewis Wealth Partners of Richmond, Virginia, that year.

Kristen Sario, Rockefeller’s Southeast regional president, said the firm sees strong demand in the city.

“Charlotte is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, and continues to be a compelling market with a strong business community and a growing population of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families,” Sario said.

She said more hires will follow. Rockefeller “will look to continue adding deeply experienced teams across the Charlotte area and the broader Southeast region,” Sario said.
