Police find 2 people dead inside Rock Hill home during welfare check

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Two people were found dead inside a home in Rock Hill on Thursday, police said.

Officers responded to the house along The Crossing, near Eason Crossing, for a welfare check.

Authorities said when police got to the house, they found mail and packages that appeared to have been there for several weeks. When no one answered the door, officers went inside and that was when they found Jacqueline Bissett, 82, and Tamara Dagenais, 59, dead.

Police have not said how the two died.

This is an ongoing investigation and no other details have been released at this point.
