CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people armed with guns broke into an Eastway Drive home at about 1 a.m. Thursday, a woman told Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The perpetrators ransacked the east Charlotte home while a toddler was inside.
The assailants pointed guns at the victims, assaulted one and stole several items, including jewelry and money, police said.
