3 injured after crash in east Charlotte, MEDIC says

CHARLOTTE — Three people suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital after a crash in east Charlotte Sunday afternoon.

The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. on Interstate 485 near US-29.

MEDIC said each person was taken to Atrium Main and Presbyterian with serious injuries.

It is unclear what led up to this crash.
