Missing 4-year-old Lincoln County boy found safe, officials say

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives executed a search warrant Monday and located a missing four-year-old child.

The boy was missing after he was supposed to have been returned to his mother on Friday, authorities said.

Officers went to the home of Johannah Tillman on Osprey Creek Circle where they located Justin Tillman. He is safe and was returned to his biological mother.

Justin Antwan Tillman, was allegedly abducted by his maternal grandmother, Johannah Lavonne Tillman, had not been seen in person since June 14, 2021, the sheriff’s office said.

A Lincoln County Judge ordered Johannah Tillman to return the child to his biological mother by noon Friday.
