CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department is investigating a crash involving one of its fire trucks.
The department said the truck was on its way to a gas leak when it crashed into a car on Mallard Creek Road.
Five people in the car were taken to the hospital, but they were not seriously hurt, officials said.
None of the firefighters were injured.
