CHARLOTTE — A $5 million project is set to bring improvements to five interchanges along I-77 in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties. The work could begin by late June and is scheduled for completion by spring 2027.

The project includes grading, paving and drainage upgrades at the ramps of Sunset Road, Harris Boulevard, Sam Furr Road, Griffith Street and Williams Road.
