CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. — The interstate has reopened since a massive 60-vehicle pileup snarled traffic on Interstate 95 over Lake Marion in South Carolina.
The crash happened Thursday morning. Officials say at least 15 of the vehicles involved were tractor-trailers.
One person was airlifted to the hospital, and several others were hurt, but no fatalities were reported as a result of the crash.
South Carolina troopers say thick fog likely played a role in the crash.
