Amber Alert canceled for 17-year-old missing from Winston-Salem

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. — An Amber Alert has been canceled for a 17-year-old that the Winston-Salem Police Department were asking for the public’s assistance to find.

The Amber Alert for Jair Junior Gasga-Espinoza was canceled at 8 a.m. on Monday. Channel 9 is asking police for more information on his condition.

Winston Salem police first issued the alert around 6 a.m. this morning.

Gasga-Espinoza is described as a Hispanic male, with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5′11″ tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, white tennis shoes and a black baseball hat.

According to police, he was last seen in the 500 block of North Martin Luther King Drive in Winston-Salem.

Anyone with information regarding the abduction is asked to call Winston Salem police immediately at 336-773-7700 or dial 911.
