‘Armed and dangerous’: Deputies searching for man accused of shooting girlfriend’s brother in Lancaster

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies are searching for a man they say shot his girlfriend’s brother after an argument in Lancaster County Monday evening.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said Kentavius Stefan Mills, 30, should be considered “armed and dangerous.” He is described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

According to deputies, Mills and his girlfriend live together and had a disagreement. She left and went to a home on Green Peach Road, where her father and 22-year-old brother lives. Officials said Mills followed her and got into an argument with the brother and father.

Authorities said Mills ended up firing several shots, hitting the brother. The father was not hurt in the shooting.

Once Emergency Medical Services got to the scene, the brother was flown to a hospital to be treated for his injuries. His identity and condition are unknown at this point.

Deputies said Mills left the scene and is facing charges for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Mill’s’ girlfriend and two young children were inside the home at the time of the shooting and were not hurt, authorities said.
