HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Foxcroft Food & Wine is closing its Huntersville restaurant after just two years.
The full-service wine bar, restaurant and retail concept said Wednesday night that it will shutter its Birkdale Village location on Oct. 10. Foxcroft called it a “difficult decision” in a social-media post but did not provide a reason behind the closure. A message left for Foxcroft seeking more information was not immediately returned.
In a statement to CBJ, a Birkdale Village spokesperson said Foxcroft is closing its Huntersville location “as part of the company’s larger corporate strategy.”
“While we are disappointed to see them go, we are grateful for their partnership over the years and wish them continued success. We remain committed to maintaining a vibrant mix of restaurants, retailers and experiences for our guests, and we look forward to sharing more about future plans for the space as they develop.”
