A man’s body was found behind a convenience store in south Charlotte Thursday afternoon, Charlotte Mecklenburg police confirmed.
None — According to a police statement, police were called around 4 p.m. Thursday to Al’s Mini Mart on Toomey Avenue in response to an unresponsive man in a vehicle. The man was not breathing when they found him, police said.
Police are calling the death suspicious, but have not said how the man got to that location.
Police have not positively identified the man, but said they would release that information once he was identified and his family was notified.
