CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — The FBI released surveillance photos from a robbery at a Bank of America in north Charlotte Tuesday afternoon.
The branch located on North Graham Street was robbed just after 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The suspect was wearing a beige mask over his face, a navy blue jacket and work pants.
FBI officials said the suspect handed the teller two plastic bags demanding cash. Once they were filled, he fled the bank.
One witness outside of the bank said, “I saw a man come out, throw a mask over his face and took off running.”
Several witnesses said the suspect jumped over a nearby wall and run to a waiting getaway car.
One witness said he tried to chase the suspects in his own car but lost them after about a mile. The FBI said the getaway car was a brown, older model large Buick or Oldsmobile that was missing hubcaps.
