Cam Newton’s ‘4th & 1′ podcast returning to Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — Cam Newton and his co-host Omari “Peggy” Collins will host a live recording of their podcast, “4th & 1,” in Charlotte on Sunday, Oct. 4.

The recording is set for 5 p.m. at 520 Elliott St. during the Roaring Riot Tailgate before the Carolina Panthers’ Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions.

The live show will stream on YouTube.

The tailgate event takes place ahead of the Panthers’ “Sunday Night Football” appearance, returning to the prime-time broadcast after nearly a decade.

The “4th & 1” podcast officially launched back in 2024.

The upcoming game against Detroit marks the Panthers’ first appearance on “Sunday Night Football” since the 2016 season, when they played in Seattle.

The franchise last hosted a home “Sunday Night Football” game in 2014 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Guest passes to attend the tailgate event cost $30, and fans can also purchase a Roaring Riot membership for $40, which includes a T-shirt and other perks.
